From the very best applicants for its fall 2008 entering class, The University of Alabama will invite approximately 40 students to join the University Fellows Experience. Those selected will pursue knowledge and action with a passion — in the classroom, on the campus, in the community, and in the world.
Mentored by top professors, supported by their UFE peers, and stimulated by world-class experts in many disciplines, University Fellows will enjoy the richest of college educations, will create enduring personal cultures of learning, and will embrace service to others as a guiding priority. It is expected that, throughout their lives, University Fellows will make a difference for the good, again and again.
